Two years after fronting a campaign for Puma, Kylie Jenner has swapped sides and landed herself as the face of Adidas Originals’ new Falcon Dorf sneakers.

The collaboration may not come as a surprise to come, thanks to her family’s ties with the brand (brother-in-law Kanye West designed his Yeezy lined for Adidas, and her sister, Kendall Jenner is also an ambassador), the brand have also revealed another special reason they chose the 21-year old beauty mogul as the new face.

Both Kylie Jenner and the Adidas Originals’ Falcon Dorf sneakers were born in 1997, making it a seminal year for the sportswear label.

“I love 90s style, and it’s really inspired many of the colour choices in my collections. From my dark matte lip kits to the bold eye shadow palettes, these looks are definitely a throwback to that time,” says the reality TV star. “I’ve always loved Adidas and it’s been really exciting now being part of the Originals family, especially for the launch of Falcon.”
